So...an update on us...Well Axel is now 4 months old. He is getting so big and sooo active! In the bath tub he spins himself in circles haha. It is the cutest thing to see! He is getting so close to rolling over from back to front but he just doesn't quite do it. He rolls to his side super easy though. Blake is going to school and working. He has I believe 1 semester left until he gets his associates of pre-engineering. I am currently in school and working also. I should be getting my associates of arts this semester (as long as I pass humanities haha). I also applied for the elementary education program starting in the spring so I am just waiting now to see if I am accepted! Wish me luck! :) Well that is about all that we have been up to lately! Duck Creek

For Labor Day weekend we went up to Duck Creek with Blake's family. We had a fun time! We rode quads and went on a fun little hike to the Cascade Waterfalls. Here are a few pictures :)

So I absolutely love dressing Axel in winter clothes! I know it is still hot here in St. George but sometimes I get bored and try all of his clothes on him :D He looks soo adorable in pants and a sweatshirt!!! Axel is 12 weeks old today. So basically 3 months. He will officially be 3 months on the 8th of September. We love spending time with our sweet little boy. 
Things Axel likes:
1) Being naked
2) Laying on his back and kicking his legs (it never gets old for him)
3) Kicking and splashing in the pool and tub
4) He likes to see his feet haha he gets a kick out of it!


Things Axel hates: 
1) Anything having to do with being on his belly :)
2) His arms and legs being restrained
3) Being in the carseat
4) Being taken out of the bath lol

Roll Over!

This is Axel rolling over today! It is so funny because he doesn't even use his arms! :) sooo cute my little boy is growing up! hehe

First Big laugh!

This is while Axel was in the bath. It was so cute!! If you watch the whole video Axel notices the camera and gets nervous haha. I think he is camera shy :)Axel is 2 1/2 months old now and he is getting so big! I love playing with him and getting him to laugh.

Well Axel is now 8 weeks old! Its crazy that time has gone by so fast! Axel has this little play yard thing that he loves to lay in and hit the animals hanging down. It is so cute! He loves to swim in the pool and bath tub with his momma and he absolutely loves talking to his uncle Jay. It is so cute to watch Jay talk to him. :) Axel is gaining weight quickly. He now weighs about 11 lbs haha. He is a chunk!  He sleeps mostly through the night. Sometimes he will wake up between 4:30 and 5:30 and I give him his binky and he falls right back to sleep. Usually he wakes up between 7 and 8 though and goes to bed between 11:30 and 12. It is so nice to be able to get sleep! Blake and I have just been trying to keep up with Axel. Blake works a lot and I just started going back to work a little last week. Just for a few hours for a couple days. Im not sure I like going back to work..it is nice to be able to stay home and be with Axel. 

Just an update!

So over the weekend we went to seattle! It was a relaxing trip. I am so surprised at how well little Axel traveled. He slept all the way to vegas, the whole time in the airport, and on the plane he was looking around most of the time :) it was so cute! He loved the fasten seatbelt light on the plane and he just stared at it. He fussed for like two minutes and then I was able to get him to sleep. On the way home he did the same thing except he slept the whole time on the plane also! It was awesome! Just recently Axel started smiling a little so I have a few pictures of that! Also, it was amazing..the last night he almost slept completely through the night! He went to sleep about 11:45 and he actually woke up at 3:00 but I stuck the binky in his mouth and he fell right back to sleep. We woke up at 6:00 though to go to the airport in the morning. But still I actually had to wake him up. He would have kept sleeping. :) It was so nice!

Mommy life...

I do love being a mom so far. I'm just so exhausted all the time! lol Nobody said it was going to be easy they only said it would be worth it. I love my baby Axel. I love taking care of him even though he stays up for 3 hours in the middle of the night and nothing I do can get him to go to sleep. He is so sweet though. He makes the funniest faces lol. Anyway that is the update as of now. We are just tired and more tired. Oh yeah..I took Axel to get circumcised on thursday. It was soo sad! He screamed and screamed the whole time! Then after he was so upset he wouldn't even eat! My poor baby!

He is now here!

Baby Axel James born June 8, 2011 at 2:46 AM. He was 7 lbs 13 oz. I was in labor for 22 hours and then had a c-section. Here are some pictures :) I love my Axel. He is healthy and I couldn't be more happy. He is amazing.

Axel tried really hard to actually come out, his head was way way cone shaped lol it was pretty much gone that same day though.

Belly belly belly!

I am now 38 weeks pregnant! I am getting so anxious! This is a picture of the finished baby room and a picture of my belly as of right now. Hopefully it won't be too much longer before baby Axel is here. My last day of work for a little while is Monday the 30th and I am actually sad to stop working...oh well I will be busy enough :)

This is what Axel's room looks like completely painted and with a crib in it! I haven't put the bedding in the crib yet so it looks a little plain. But I absolutely love the room! I am going to put things on the walls also so it won't look as plain. I have one month left and then baby Axel will be here!

Painting!!

Last night Blake and I bought all the paint and supplies we need to paint baby Axel's room. We started painting last night also. It is going to be so cute! It is going to be blue with green and brown stripes at the bottom. The blue we got is super cute! Im so excited about it! I can't wait for the whole room to be painted and have a crib and clothes and toys in it! Anyway, that is what we have been up to other than school and work. Finals week is next week and we are so happy to have the semester just about over!

BABY!

so...baby Axel James will be here so soon! I am almost 32 weeks and we still have so much to get done! I love this though..its exciting and nerve racking all at once :)

Yay new blog! I have never done this before and it is quite fun! Today was our anniversary. We also had to teach sunday school for the first time :) it was super fun! We celebrated a little last night. Isn't it wonderful how all we really need is to cuddle on the couch and watch a movie? I love my husband and I am so blessed to have him in my life.
